Happy Halloween!

On Saturday we spent the day creating our Halloween costumes for a party at the Gordon House! After much debate we decided on a crafty idea that would be fun for us to put together. All it took was...

$22 of supplies from Hobby Lobby, a box from the garage, some scrapbook paper, and several hours of creativity...

and we ended up with some pretty amazing Price Is Right Showcase Showdown costumes!

We had a great time with the Gordon Family and friends. It was a wonderful night of hanging out and cooking s'mores on the bon fire! We didn't get a full group picture but check out the host and hostess! Love the costumes!

 Andrew, Caitlin, and Ozzie Gordon!

We are so lucky to have such great friends!
Happy Halloween!

Party!

Just a quick update! Tonight we were able to be a part of the surprise birthday celebration for our great friend Brandon Williams!

A dinner of 22 at Buca di Beppo was the perfect way to celebrate his 30th! We are so thankful for our amazing friends!

Yorkville Visit

This past weekend we ventured down Matt’s hometown to visit his family! It had been WAY too long since we had seen any of the Kammers.
 On the road again!
Teri (Matt’s mom), Sandy (Matt’s Aunt) and Milea spent Friday night at a Bunco tournament and raffle fundraiser for the North Dearborn County Food Pantry Thanksgiving Dinner Fund.
Milea’s beads for getting a BUNCO!
Friday night was so fun and full of adult beverages and dice games. In the end, there was a raffle and in the end Milea's ticket was drawn and she won the grand prize of 4 buffet passes to the Hollywood Casino Buffet and 4 passes to the club Boogie Nights! (We cannot wait to post about using these!)
Check out Milea’s raffle prize!
On Saturday Milea and Teri woke up early to shop at this amazing boutique-like store Bizarre Bazaar!
The awesome store Teri took Milea to.
The day continued with meeting Matthew for lunch at LaRosa’s (it was Milea’s 1st time) for calzones and hoagies before heading to the pumpkin festival at The Minges Family Farm!
 Minges Farm sign!
 Part of the festival grounds!
We then ended the night with family dinner (including Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins) at Widolff's General Store and drinks by the fire pit!
Last but not least Sunday morning was filled with good food and helping Teri and GJ out with some things around the house. We helped prune back some plants for the fall and cleaned up the beautiful chandelier in the kitchen.
 Teri’s beautiful chandelier!
In the end we had an amazing weekend visiting family. We were able to see Teri, GJ, Sandy, Richard, Fred, Pat, Mark, Marybeth, Ken, Michele, and even Hunter! Teri and GJ even sent us home with loads of food – deer, chicken, noodles, goetta, and fresh picked sweet potatoes. We are both looking forward to another visit down to the farm!
Love,
Milea and Matt

Disney World!!!

Last weekend (and my Mothers Birthday!) we had an amazing mini-vacation to visit Brittany in Disney World! For those of you who don’t know she is working at the Land Pavilion giving the “Behind the Seeds” tour! The weather in Florida was far from warm and sunny but that didn’t rain on our parade!
Rocking the Mickey Mouse ponchos!

We spent and entire day indulging in the Wine and Food Festival at Epcot, soggy crackers, watery wine, blistered feet and all!
Enjoying cheese, crackers, wine and beer in Germany!

On our second day we went on Brittany’s tour of the amazing greenhouses of Disney World! She was the BEST tour guide anyone could have asked for, but I may be a little partial!
 Brittany giving her AMAZING tour!
In our short (2day) trip there were several “must-do’s” on the list, including, the Norway Troll ride, getting a pearl from Japan, Small World, Splash Mountain, and Milea’s favorite, Tower of Terror!! In the end it was an amazing weekend trip to the happiest place on earth and a wonderful way to celebrate Vicky’s Birthday!

Have a Magical Day,
