Kittle Family Chex-Mix

Normally this would be a post for the holiday season! Home made chex-mix is a Thanksgiving and Christmas tradition at the Kittle house!  Matthew came home yesterday and informed me that we were in charge of providing a snack for their investment day at the branch. His request was Chex-mix. I have to say that making this snack is usually the job of Dr. Dan (my dad) and he is a PRO! While my attempt was amazing it will never compare to the magic my Dad can do with these ingredients. Here is the recipe breakdown...
Ingredients
1/2 C butter (1 stick), melted
2+ tsp garlic salt
4 1/2 tsp worchestire sauce
2 1/2 C rice chex cereal
2 1/2 C corn chex cereal
2 1/2 C wheat chex cereal
Optional Additions
1 C pretzals
1 C nuts (peanuts or cashews)

Directions
Melt butter, add garlic salt, and worchestire sauce and mix well
Add all rice cereal and stir well being sure to fully coat the cereal
(don't leave a puddle at the bottom of the bowl)

Microwave for 2 minutes at medium-high heat
Stir well
Microwave for 2 minutes at medium heat
Stir well
Add any additions
Microwave for 2 minutes at high heat
Stir and allow to cool before serving
From our snack-filled kitchen to yours!
